YAPAD

Empowering youth, women, and local communities through community-driven initiatives to promote Peace And Sustainable development.

Who We Are

Young Africans for Peace and Development (YAPAD) is a local, youth and women-led nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and sustainable growth in conflict-affected regions of Kenya and Ethiopia. Founded in 2019, YAPAD was established by a team of visionary young leaders and women committed to transforming vulnerable communities into agents of peace and development.
We believe that by empowering the most affected groups, youth, women, and marginalized populations, we can create a lasting impact and foster harmony in the Horn of Africa.
